The Pawpaw Festival in Paw Paw Illinois brings together visitors, enthusiasts, fruit growers, food vendors, artisans, educators, and volunteers to help celebrate and better understand America's largest native tree fruit. It is a one day event, Saturday, September 26th at Veteran's Memorial Park in Paw Paw, IL - Set up for the event begins the day before, with tear down the evening and next day to follow.
Pawpaw Foundation can use your help with the Pawpaw Education Tent and at the Lunch Stand providing samples of frozen pawpaw pulp to the curious public. There are plenty of other areas where you can help as a Festival Volunteer, including Setup/Breakdown, Registration/Check-in, Vendor Assistance, Crowd Management, Parking Assistance, Information Booth, Photography/Social Media, Marketing, Communications, IT/Tech, Entertainment Coordination, and First Aid/Medical.
